- Rule: never “spam backspace”. Fix errors cleanly.
- Train rhythm: consistent tempo beats bursts.
Train Like It Counts.
This roadmap is built around how Typing Alpha actually works: games, best scores, XP levels, badges, daily bounties, and prestige certificates. No filler—only progression.
Skill Ladder (What to Train)
Each game trains a different skill. Mastery comes from the right order + the right standards.
- Look at the next target before finishing the current one.
- Stay relaxed. Tension slows reaction.
- Stop reading letter-by-letter. See chunks.
- Train deliberate eye movement: target → commit → execute.
- Hold form when it gets chaotic: posture, breathing, rhythm.
- Longer sessions only after your accuracy stays stable.
Weekly Plans (By Level)
Typing Alpha gives 25 XP per completed run. Daily bounties accelerate XP. Use these plans to level up while pushing certificate requirements.
Badges Map (What to Unlock)
Badges are tied to real triggers in Typing Alpha: streaks, levels, and skill metrics from your best scores.
- Spark: 3-day streak
- Novice: Level 5
- Dedicated: Level 10 + 5-day streak
- Unstoppable: Level 20 + 10-day streak
- Alpha: Level 50 + 30-day streak
- Speed Test: 40 / 80 / 120 / 150 WPM
- Ninja: 500 / 1200 / 2500 pts
- Memory: Round 4 / 8 / 15
- Hunter: 400 / 1000 / 2000 pts
- Defense: Wave 5 / 12 / 20
Training Rules (The Standard)
These rules keep your progress real. They also match how the certificate system checks your best scores.
Certificate Path (Real Requirements)
Prestige certificates are your long-term targets. Each tier forces multi-skill mastery across games.
Typing Apprentice
- Warmup: 1 Speed Test run (steady rhythm).
- Core: Ninja (reaction) + Hunter (scanning) until your best scores stick.
- Finish: 1 Speed Test run to lock Net WPM.
Keyboard Combatant
- Speed is earned: push WPM only when accuracy stays stable.
- Defense days build pressure endurance. Don’t sprint—hold form.
- Memory days build accuracy discipline and reduce panic errors.
Alpha Grandmaster
- Rotate skills: speed, control, and endurance must all advance together.
- Train accuracy at pace: slow down only enough to stay perfect.
- Defense Wave 50 is the endurance gate—build time-on-keyboard gradually.
